And Vaani Kapoor was spotted at a recent award function, where she chose to make a fashion statement that was subtle yet gorgeous. The actor was spotted in a little black dress that added to her statuesque presence.

A little black dress, aka an LBD, is something that every woman has in her closet. It is perfect to be dressed down when going to work and can be turned into a classy evening outfit if you have post-work plans, like a hangout with colleagues or a date. It is one of the most versatile outfits to have on hand and can truly go from day to night with minimal changes.

The 37-year-old wore a little black dress for a recent awards function. Styled by Pranita Abhi, Vaani wore a long black dress with a column silhouette and a crew neckline by Silvia Tcherassi, a Miami-based fashion designer. While it might look simple at first glance, it is an elegant piece that has character.

The midi dress with the fitted bodice is the Leni Dress by Silvia and costs ₹136,072, as it is made from Italian fabric. With a thigh-high slit, the skirt has an interesting twist detail at the front and is held together with a gold pin embellishment.

The actor, who was last seen in Raid 2 and the controversial Aabeer Gulaal, paired the look with strappy black heels from Tom Ford. She kept the accessories to a minimum and added statement gold circular earrings from Renu Oberoi Jewels.

Kunal Gupta photographed the actor, while hairstylist Sajan Thapa did her hair – a slicked-back ponytail with a Gen Z-approved middle parting. Makeup artist Shefali Sharma did Vaani’s glam. It was a subtle brown lip with a focus on her eyes. She opted for a brown smoky eye with a smudged-out winged eyeliner that added depth to the eyes.
