Zendaya’s ‘Spider Man’ premiere look had a hidden meaning
Zendaya’s latest red-carpet look had a special meaning that many people did not notice at first.
When the actress arrived at the Los Angeles premiere of Spider Man: Brand New Day, she wore a black gown that was inspired by an “abstract” spider, her stylist later revealed.
The Ashi Studio dress got a fitted corset and a long flowing train so while many people loved the outfit, stylist Law Roach said there was more to it than just fashion.
Speaking to Variety, Roach explained that the dress was his own creative take on a spider.
He shared that the idea was to show the image of a woman changing into something inspired by the famous superhero.
Zendaya completed the look with jewellery from Boucheron, adding the final touch to the outfit.
Roach, however, also looked back at the actress’s Spider Man press tour and admitted it was difficult to choose his favorite look.
He added that the vintage John Galliano spiderweb dress Zendaya wore at the London premiere still stood out for him.
The stylist has been working hard behind the scenes during Zendaya’s busy summer of movie promotions.
He even went to Paris to get Schiaparelli gown straight from the runway so she could wear it at The Odyssey premiere in London.
