Following the incident, DIG Operations Faisal Kamran suspended the entire Ghaziabad police station staff, including the station house officer (SHO), two sub-inspectors, eight assistant sub-inspectors and a total of 78 personnel. The suspended officials also include the front desk staff.According to the DIG Operations, the action was taken over poor supervision and failure to fulfil administrative responsibilities.He said every activity inside a police station should be within the knowledge of the SHO.
