Katy Perry makes birthday girl’s dream come true during epic Kosovo debut

Katy Perry’s first-ever concert in Kosovo turned into an unforgettable night not just for thousands of fans in attendance, but especially for one young girl.

While headlining the Sunny Hill Festival in Prishtina on Saturday, August 1, the 41-year-old pop star spotted a little fan in the crowd and had an emotional interaction with her.

Recounting on the milestone performance, the Firework singer shared a carousel of photos and videos from the festival, writing, “My first ever show in Kosovo was magical!! Thank you @dualipa and @sunnyhillfestival for having me [red heart emoji]????????.”

“That’s a wrap on Eurosummer!!” she added. “Thank you to every single person who braved the heat to come see our show! I’m OOO.”

Among other videos, one clip shows a young fan telling the pop icon that it is her birthday and that she had “manifested” meeting her.

Moved by the sweet confession, the I Kissed a Girl vocalist performed her hit song Roar alongside her.

The birthday girl was overcome with emotion, bursting into tears as she sang with the Grammy-nominated star while the crowd cheered them on.

The post also featured several memorable moments from the night, including backstage photos with festival founder Dua Lipa, who invited Perry to headline this year’s event.

The two pop stars also reunited backstage to film a playful Watch It Burn dance video that quickly made the rounds on social media.

During her high-energy set, Perry celebrated her maiden visit to Kosovo by proudly waving the Kosovo flag during the performance.
