For her appearance at a high fashion event in Mumbai, Wamiqa Gabbi nailed the gothic aesthetic. She turned heads in a black gown and statement headgear.

Actor Wamiqa Gabbi is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, Bhool Chuk Maaf, where she will share the screen with Rajkummar Rao. Ahead of the release of the film, the actor was spotted at a high-fashion gala in Mumbai. For her appearance at the event, she opted for an all-black ensemble that served glamour and drama.
For her appearance at The Word Magazine’s costume gala for a cause, Wamiqa Gabbi brought her A-game to the red carpet. The actor took to her social media to share pictures of her look. She wrote, “Channeling my inner ‘Anput’ for @thewordmagazine Gala.”

For the gala, Wamiqa opted for a black gown by ITRH 2. The strapless Kailani Black Gown came with a plunging neckline detail. Made from melon crepe crystal fabric, the dress boasted a reflective shimmer. The dress came with a bodycon silhouette. However, the dress flared into a voluminous figure from the thigh onwards, adding drama to the overall look. Channelling Anput (the Egyptian goddess of mummification and the underworld), Wamiqa paired this black gown with a butterfly-inspired headband by Deepa Gurnani. The headband was hand-embroidered and it was encrusted with semiprecious stones, glass beads, and brass material. Wamiqa’s look was further elevated with a dramatic black veil that added drama to the overall look. The veil was adorned with black feather appliques, giving the overall look a gothic allure.
Styled by Mohit Rai, Wamiqa opted for black studded earrings, a statement ring, and a matte black manicure. For the glam, she went with a matte base. She added a hint of contour and bronzer for a sculpted look. She defined her eyes with mascara and added a soft pink shade to her lips. She tied her hair in a sleek bun and completed her OTT look.
