Jack Osbourne shares sweet photo of baby daughter Ozzy, named after grandfather

Jack Osbourne has shared a sweet update on his youngest daughter, Ozzy Matilda Osbourne, marking roughly a year since the death of her namesake and grandfather, Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.
Posting to Instagram on 31 July, Jack, 40, shared a photo of himself with his four-month-old daughter, writing that “little miss ozz already has a mischievous sparkle.”
In the snap, baby Ozzy, dressed in a pink onesie, smiles for the camera while being held by her father, who wears a wide-brimmed hat and denim jacket.
Fans quickly picked up on the family resemblance in the comments, with one writing, “Not to sound cliche, but she honestly had your dad’s smirk,” and another adding, “She’s Ozzy’s granddaughter for sure. What a beautiful child.”
Ozzy Matilda, Jack’s fifth child and second with wife Aree Gearheart, was born on 5 March, weighing seven pounds and 12 ounces.
The couple announced her birth with a black-and-white video that included a stuffed bat plushie, a nod to the moment her grandfather famously bit the head off a bat during a 1982 concert.
Jack shares Pearl, 14, Andy, 11, and Minnie, 8, with ex-wife Lisa Stelly, as well as daughter Maple, 4, with Gearheart.
Ozzy Osbourne died in July 2025 at the age of 76, weeks after performing what was billed as his final concert with Black Sabbath at Birmingham’s Back to the Beginning show, which raised more than $11 million for charity.
Jack has previously spoken about the pregnancy helping the family process their grief, telling The Sun shortly before his daughter’s birth that the news had been “partly a healthy distraction, partly healing, partly kind of in that ‘full cycle’ category, in a weird way.”
