Justin Baldoni’s wedding anniversary disrupted by Blake Lively bombshell

Justin Baldoni and Emily Baldoni’s wedding anniversary celebrations were short-lived.
On Monday, July 27, the 42-year-old actor marked 13 years of wedded bliss with Emily with an Instagram tribute. But around that same time, reports emerged that Baldoni has been ordered to pay a huge sum of money related to his now-settled legal battle with Blake Lively.
The Jane the Virgin star has not publicly reacted to the news. Instead, he shared a throwback picture of his and Emily’s wedding day, showing the then-newlyweds tearing up the dance floor.
“13 years later… we’re still dancing,” he wrote in the caption. “Happy anniversary, my love. I’m pretty sure this was the exact moment my pants ripped open,” he added.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that Baldoni’s Wayfarer Studios must cough up a whopping $171,616 to The New York Times after he failed to sue them for defamation.
The lawsuit was filed in early 2025, when Baldoni sued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for $400 million dollars while also suing The Times for $250 million, alleging that they orchestrated a smear campaign against him by publishing an article about the now-infamous drama on the set of It Ends With Us.
Baldoni’s lawsuit came hours after Lively had sued him for defamation, claiming he retaliated against her for reporting sexual harassment and workplace safety concerns.
Even before the New York Times article was published, fans had already picked up on behind-the-scenes tensions when Baldoni, who directed It Ends With Us, was seemingly shunned at the film’s world premiere. He did not pose with any of the cast, with only his wife standing firmly by his side.
