Kanye West settles harassment lawsuit with former assistant Lauren Pisciotta
Kanye West has settled a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by his former personal assistant, Lauren Pisciotta.
According to court documents confirmed by Page Six the two parties reached the settlement on July 23, per filings Pisciotta’s lawyers submitted to a Los Angeles court this week.
The filing describes the settlement as unconditional, with a request for dismissal expected within 45 days.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and TMZ was first to report the news. West’s representatives have not yet responded to requests for comment.
Pisciotta originally filed suit against West, legally known as Ye, in June 2024, alleging sexual harassment and wrongful termination.
According to her complaint, she began working for West in July 2021 while he prepared to launch his Yeezy fashion line, accepting a $1 million salary in exchange for being available to him around the clock.
She also claimed she was earning an additional $1 million annually through OnlyFans until West asked her to delete the account in 2022 in favour of presenting a more wholesome image, at which point he allegedly raised her salary to $2 million to offset the lost income, though she says that raise never materialised.
Pisciotta’s lawsuit went on to allege a pattern of inappropriate conduct from West, including sexually explicit messages, unsolicited intimate images and videos, and photos of other Yeezy employees shared without consent.
She also claimed West locked them in a room together and behaved inappropriately before falling asleep, and that he grew hostile when she declined his advances.
She was promoted to chief of staff across several of his companies in September 2022 with a $4 million salary offer, only to be fired the following month; she alleges she never received the $3 million in severance she was promised.
An amended complaint filed in October 2024 added further allegations, including that West drugged and sexually assaulted her during a studio session also attended by Sean “Diddy” Combs.
West’s legal team pushed back forcefully against the claims in a July 2024 statement, calling the lawsuit baseless and announcing plans to countersue, alleging Pisciotta had pursued him romantically to secure employment and later attempted blackmail after being rejected.
His attorneys also accused her of erratic behavior in the workplace, arguing her conduct was inconsistent with someone claiming to have experienced harassment or a hostile environment.
