Olivia Rodrigo breaks new global record with ‘you seem pretty sad’ album

Olivia Rodrigo has achieved a brand new milestone with her album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, adding to the list of milestones she has unlocked since its release back in June.

The 23-year-old pop superstar has now made a record as the fifth longest running number one album of all-time on Global Spotify weekly top albums chart, tied with SZA’s SOS. 

Both the albums have spent 11 weeks each, on top of the streaming platform, and fans took to social media to celebrate it while they declared Rodrigo’s album as their album of the year.

Flocking to X, one fan exclaimed, “the AOTY off,” and another agreed, “AOTY confirmed.”

A third chimed in, “The queen of pop rock and queen of rnb,” and “This is so beautiful.”

Another added, “rodrigoat,” while one declared, “A fu–ing legend of an artist and album.”
