St Aubin residents to meet officials over dredging concerns

In a letter sent to residents Sadler said the work was carried out on 19 March.

The letter added: “We note the concerns raised regarding seagrass, wildlife, beach conditions and access to St Aubin’s Fort.

“While we are not currently aware of evidence linking the harbour clearance works to all of the issues described in your letter … we recognise the concerns that have been raised and take them seriously.”

The letter said that an in-person meeting would provide the chance to explain the background to the works and for residents to discuss their concerns in person.
