Taylor Swift joins forces with Grammys for surprise performance

Taylor Swift headlines intimate Grammy ‘Icon Session’

Taylor Swift attended a memorable event celebrating her career at the Grammy museum, where she surprised a small group of attendees with a performance.

The 36-year-old pop superstar showed up to the “Icon Session” event moderated by the Recording Academy President Harvey Mason Jr, which highlighted her 20-year-long career in the industry.

Following the performance, the 14-time-Grammy winner also sat down for a conversation in which she discussed songwriting, inspirations, and art that inspires her.

The no-phone intimate event hosted 100-200 guests all of whom got to interact with Swift personally, and described her as “sweet, humble, and fully present.”

Swifties swiftly flocked to social media and asked about the recording of the event, which was reportedly fully filmed, writing, “so you mean to tell me that we might have gotten our first Ophelia performance and we can’t even see it?!?!!?”

Another added, “TAYLOR BETTER HAVE PREPARED 4K RECORDING COMING OUT TOMORROW,” while a third chimed in, “WE NEED THE PERFORMANCE VIDEO.”

More exclaimed, “Where??????? Gimmme,” and “ACTUALLY ROMANTIC LIVE OH MY GOD RELEASE IT.”

One noted, “Oh Grammy campaign that we needed.”

As of yet, Swift has not performed any song from her recent album The Life of a Showgirl.
