Taylor Swift takes on surprising new career role

Taylor Swift may be adding a surprising new title to her résumé: Hollywood matchmaker.
According to Star magazine, Swift is apparently determined to help Tom Cruise find love after the pair crossed paths at the Kansas City Chiefs’ season opener on September 14.
Swift skipped the Primetime Emmys that night to support husband Travis Kelce, and Cruise joined her and Kelce in the family’s suite.
While the pop star and the 64-year-old actor appeared to hit it off, Cruise was still flying solo — and that reportedly caught Swift’s attention.
“She told Tom that she’s going to find him the right gal, and she really means it,” a source shared.
“She’s so in love, she wants everyone to feel as happy as she does, so she will be seriously devoting herself to this. Tom is in great hands.”
Apparently, Swift isn’t the only celebrity playing Cupid. The Daily Mail previously reported that Victoria Beckham has also been trying to help Cruise with his dating life.
“Tom is frustrated that his love life has not been smooth because often he is lonely,” an insider claimed.
“He’s not desperate to find love, even though his close friend Victoria Beckham is always trying to set him up with a pretty young thing.”
But Swift may have another reason to keep Cruise close — and it involves Kelce’s Hollywood ambitions.
“Football is still the focus for Travis, but once he does step back and he’s ready to act, Tom will be a fantastic help,” the Star source added. “Taylor is all for it. She wants to see Travis achieve his dreams.”
Kelce has already appeared in Grotesquerie and Happy Gilmore 2, so a few Hollywood connections certainly wouldn’t hurt.
Whether Swift actually finds Cruise a date remains to be seen. But if she does, she might just earn herself the most unexpected job title yet: celebrity Cupid.
