Taylor Swift’s significant act of kindness resurfaces six years later

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest philanthropes in the music industry, and many of her random acts of kindness are not even publicised.

The 36-year-old pop superstar privately helped a record store in Nashville when the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world, and helped them stay afloat financially.

The news resurfaced on social media six years later, and it was revealed that the Opalite hitmaker had secretly supported Nashville’s beloved independent record store, Grimey’s New & Preloved Music.

After the store sent the employees home for quarantine, Swift provided “direct financial relief to all 10 full-time employees and covered three months of healthcare costs under the store’s group insurance plan. Her support gave the small business much-needed peace of mind during one of the most difficult periods of the pandemic.”

The Grammy winner won hearts with her support at such a globally crucial time and fans flocked to show their appreciation, writing, “Taylor is the best!!!”

Another added, “Oh, generous queen,” as well as “The music industry saving the music industry.”

One chimed in, “my hero,” while someone wrote, “Been there many times and it is a great record Store,” of the record store.
