Holly Willoughby has heaped praise on her father, describing him as a kind, joyful and loveable man in a heartfelt Father’s Day tribute.

The former This Morning presenter,45, celebrated her father, Terry Willoughby, by sharing a touching Instagram post praising his kindness and revealing that he is one of her pets ‘favourite humans.

‘If you want to know someone’s true character, watch how the fur babies react. Kind, funny and endlessly looking for the joy in life… You’re one of their favourite humans, and mine too. Happy Father’s Day, Dad. Love you so much,’ Holly captioned the post.

In the snap, Terry is seen smiling, as he affectionately cuddles Holly’s cat Bluebell, and dog, Bailey.

Through her message, Holly suggested that animals can sense a person’s true character.

Holly’s Father’s Day post comes after reports claimed that her company has faced significant financial setbacks, with its earnings reportedly dropping more than £100k.

The reported decline follows her departure from This Morning and the cancellation of her Netflix series, Bear Hunt.

Her reduced absence from television has reportedly affected her financial situation.
