Wayne Lineker gets emotional over Katie Price’s ‘genuine love’ for son Harvey
Wayne Lineker has described Katie Price’s sweet gesture for taking her eldest son, Harvey, to the O Beach in Ibiza as the most ‘special thing.’
The former glamour model,48, jetted off to the island with her 24-year-old son for a much-needed break.
The mother and son headed to Wayne’s day club, where they partied together.
In a clip shared on Katie’s Instagram account, the mother-of-five was seen being greeted by Wayne onto the stage in the middle of the club’s garden.
Meanwhile, Harvey could be seen having a blast with the bottle girls, who had his name spelt out on massive orange boards.
They danced on the floor as Harvey looked happy and excited.Sharing a photo of Harvey and Katie on Instagram, Wayne wrote: A special message to @katieprice
‘We’ve certainly had our moments over the years, you more than anyone knows that. We’ve faced obstacles, made mistakes and sometimes been our own worst enemies. But through it all, there’s one thing I believe we’ve always shared: our two hearts and our genuine love of helping other people.
‘Yesterday, I saw with my own eyes just how much you adore your special boy, and how much Harvey adores you in return.
‘People don’t always get to see the mum behind the public face. I watched you constantly patting the sweat from your boy’s head, making sure he was comfortable and even making sure our chef cooked his favourite carbonara, despite it not being on the menu. Those little moments say more than any headline ever could.
‘And then the crowd chanting his name, “Harvey! Harvey!”(see yesterday’s video) it was honestly one of the most special things I’ve ever witnessed. The love in that room was incredible.
‘It’s at times like these that I feel incredibly proud of what I’ve built and achieved, because creating moments like that means more than anything else.
‘These are the moments that show you what really matters. Behind everything else, there are real people, real hearts and real love.’
Their outing comes after Katie Price was criticised for showing her lack of commitment to the director of her film Jackie The Stripper after begging for a part.
