Hayden Panettiere cause of death revealed in shocking 911 call
New details have emerged about the sudden death of actress Hayden Panettiere after leaked 911 audio reportedly mentioned a suspected overdose.
The Heroes and Nashville star died on Sunday, August 16, at the age of 36. She was found unresponsive by a friend at her home in South Carolina.
TMZ has now got audio from the emergency call as in the short recording, an officer can be heard saying, “Responding. Overdose. CPR is in progress.”
Paramedics quickly arrived at Hayden’s home and tried to save her life. They, however, used advanced medical treatment to bring her back, but sadly, their efforts were unsuccessful.
She was pronounced dead at 2.32pm.
Police are still looking into what exactly happened as officials shared that there were no early signs of foul play or anything suspicious.
A friend of Hayden’s was the person who made the 911 call.
Her representative Kasey Kitchen also confirmed that an investigation is underway.
Officials are expected to do an autopsy to find out what caused her death.
The late icon, moreover, earlier talked openly about her difficult past, including her struggles with alcohol, time in rehab, domestic abuse and postpartum depression.
Hayden’s father called her “an incredible light and a force of nature.”
